Puppies born on 23rd June 2010

On 23rd and 24th of June Cike gave birth to 10 puppies. 6 males and 4 females. One male has offset and a 3rd crown in his ridge. One little female was weak and sadly didn't make it. Cike was mated on 17th and 18th of April.

Cike will hopefully become mum to her 2nd litter in the summer of 2010, it will be our G-litter. Once again we have found an incredibly sweet and beautiful Sire for Cike’s upcoming litter. The Chosen one is Kalakamati Ajani. Ajani is German bred and lives in Germany. He is International, Swizz, and German Champion. Ajani has passed the German ”Begleitshundeprüfung” (BH) which is equivalent to the English “Good Citizen Dog Scheme test.” Ajani is naturally a healthy representative for the breed and like Cike he is sweet and good natured towards both people and other animals.

Cike is a sweet dog who is very easy to live with. She is nearly always happy. When we get visitors she almost makes the house fall apart with joy. The only time Cike is not happy is when other dogs try to take her food, or if she think they are about to do so. This is probably something she’s inherited from her mum Issa, just as well as she has learned it from her. All people can take her food without problems, but other dogs should keep away if they treasure their lives :-) Cike is in many ways like her mum Issa – mostly this is very positive :-)

Cike was not even 3 years old when she, with ease, became German Champion. At just 9 shows she got the 4 needed CC's. Cike is occasionally shown in Denmark and the rest of Europe and mostly with excellent result. Cike always get great comments on her movements and her excellent mentality. Her always happy and open mind is lovely in the show ring, but now and then a little extra work is required in the obedience ring, because Cike wants to be in on EVERYTHING, she won’t miss out on anything.

Cike has trial/working wise a Rally Novice title and an Endurance Title (UHP) which is running 20 km next to a bicycle. Cike is training obedience, both "normal" obedience and rally obedience, as well as tracking (blood tracking). She is the first of all our "pretty dolls" who is a super happy little dog. She is the clown of the house, always trying to make people laugh. Well that would be unless she hits them on their legs or fingers with her tail when she is wagging. It can hit very hard that tail. Cike has taken over the spot of joining me in the "Child and dog education". Cike loves children and I would have liked to take her with me earlier, but exactly Cike's tail made me wait, since I wouldn’t like her to hit a child with it and hurt them, just out of happiness.

Cike has had one litter so far. The litter consisted of 2 dogs and 6 bitches. 7 correct puppies and 1 ridge-less bitch. All of them were healthy and happy. All of them are much loved family dogs and they are giving their owners a lot of joy and happy days. All are sweet and very willing to learn, and most of them would like to be active all the time. I expect some of Cike's puppies to be x-rayed before the next litter. Of Cike's first litter 6 of 8 puppies has been shown with nice results and superb critiques from the judges, where first of all their great mentality has been mentioned. Cike’s puppies from her first litter with Sambo are so far of the lighter type. They are all very elegant with lovely movements.

Cike is from a litter of 9, 5 dogs and 4 bitches. One bitch has an incorrect ridge and one dog has incorrect bite. 6 have been x-rayed on the hips and elbows, and 4 of them also on the shoulders. None of them has any HD, ED or OCD! The main part of Cike’s siblings has been shown and done well. Her brother “Sheriff” in Norway is Norwegian Champion. Cike’s brother Zazu is most winning Open Class Dog in Denmark and has been “Open Dog of the Year” both 2008 and 2009 in RRK.

I expect the G-litter to be a bunch of happy and healthy puppies with some extraordinary mentalities. I would like to see active puppy buyers who want to train their dogs and take part in shows/trials. I can offer help in training of almost everything, or can recommend people who can help if the new family should live little further away.

Cike is a dog that has to be experienced. So many says their dogs are "happy and easy to live with" that it’s almost not trustworthy to write it any more, because everyone does, but as said, Cike just has to be EXPERIENCED first hand!
