Something about OBEDIENCE
Issa is a very good "working dog". She likes everything !. This year we have been to some obedience trails. Issa got her first Obedience title "LP1" before she got 2 years, and that is very good I think. To get the title "LP1" you have to receive at least 90 out of 100 point in a trail. Now we are going for the "LP2". Unfortunately its winter here in Denmark now, and the next trail is not before April 2001. In the "LP2" you have to get 135 out of 150 point - getting that, and you can compete in "LP3" There you have to get 180 out of 200 point to pass, and when doing that 3 times, you can call your self "Danish Obedience Champion". It's our goal to become that, and I believe Issa can do it. Issa's grandfather is so far the only ridgeback ever that have been Danish Obedience Champion.
DKK = Danish Kennel Club. When passing a class there, you get an obedience
title. The titles: LP1, LP2, LP3, DKLPCH and DKELCH.
DcH = Danish Civilian Dog Club. Here you don't get any official titles. The
classes here is: C, B, A and E, in that order, starting with C.
