RR-day and Clubsiegershow 2009
The last weekend in august 2009 was a very busy weekend. On Saturday we had the yearly "RR-dag" (clubshow) in Denmark. There wasn't that may dogs entered. Judge was Janet Wang from South Africa. It was a nice day, but also a very hard day where I many many times had to think about Issa. Thinking about her great win last year. I was very happy to see one of her best friend though her whole life, sweet Kali, following in Issa's footprints and getting BISS Veteran this year! Here some photos and results.
Most of the photos are from Mona Hansen. Thanks Mona for the photos!

First in the ring was sweet little Kuzonga's Fazi. Was her and daddy's first show ever, and they both need a little more training so they didn't get any placement, but it was a joy to be around her a whole day! She is just so sweet! |

Next out was the open class males. In this class were the 2 brothers NOCH LP1 LP2 BH Kuzonga's Cheriff and Rally-B LP1 Kuzonga's Chunuka Zazu together with their nephew SEVCH LP1 Rally-B UHP LP2 FP LP3 Kuzonga's D'Uncas of Embo. In this photo Uncas and Sheriff, who placed 3rd and 4th. Only Danish breed males to get placed in this class. |

And wont forgot to put a photo of Rally-B LP1 Kuzonga's Chunuka Zazu as well. He sadly wasn't placed. How can a judge not like this boy? I for sure do :-) |

Now I didn't have Issa anymore and therefore couldn't show in Veteran class, it was so great to be asked if I would place show Embo (father of our D-litter) for the first time in Veteran class, and of course I would! It was great to see Embo again (haven't seen him for about a year) and even more great to see how happy and healthy he still is! Nothing old about him :-) If I'm lucky, I might get asked to show him again one day in Veteran class :-) Embo nicely placed 3rd in his class. |

| By the female's I had a "small" problem. I had 3 girls in the same class. UHP LP1 Rally-B Rally-V Kuzonga's Bayana J'Adore, DEVDHCH Rally-B UHP Kuzonga's Cirkeline and Kuzonga's Dear Memory of Sus (called Cheyenne). Thanks for much Mona and Catja for helping out with showing the girls! From left Mona with Sjalle, Catja with Cheyenne and me with Cike |

Sjalle turning 6 years next time and seems to just have more and more fun by the showing, well and as all Kuzonga's - she seems to not really care that much who will be in the other end of the leash as long as the food is good :-) The judge didn't' think Sjalle was the type of dog she liked to place this day |

Catja and Cheyenne. Cheyenne never was trained a lot for showing, and hasn't been in the show ring for almost 1½ year, but still just went into the ring with a "stranger" and did her very best. Cheyenne sadly has a little to much weight right now, the judge didn't comment this, but more or less anything else, and also Cheyenne wasn't the kind of dog she was looking for :-) |

My little sweetheart Cike. Not having that much fun at the shows right now, but doing exactly what I tell her to anyway. She seems to slowly have gotten adult and little more quiet. Cike was our 3rd attempt to present the judge a dog she liked, but no, Cike also wasn't the type she liked. |
All in all it wasn't the day we got the most impressive show results, but we still had a nice day, and it was great to have such a lovely bunch of Kuzonga's together, and see how much of Issa there is to be found in every single of them. The think they for sure share all of them is their great joy of just being with and of course their huge hunger :-)
Getting back home pretty late, and also having to give Auri a little attention before bedtime, there wasn't many hours left for sleeping before Karina and Foenix came the next morning and we did put Sjalle and Foenix into the car and went off for the Clubsiegershau 2009 in Appel, held by the DZRR. For some reason I though we were off for a smaller show, I was very wrong :-) With a lot more dogs entered here then the day before in Denmark it wasn't really a small show. Was around 120 dogs entered.
First out was sweet little Foenix in puppy class. Karina and Foenix mostly was with to get some nice practise, and to hope to be in the ring with more then just 1 or maybe 2 other dogs. Well and we had luck. There was 5 male puppies. Foenix and Karina did GREAT! Foenix just stood so nice and quiet, even though 2 of the puppies in the ring didn't have that much ring experience and was kind of "all over the place". Foenix just did as mum said. It was a joy to watch. Foenix also got a really nice rapport, but the judge would have liked him to have a stronger head and more bone. Well I think he looks great for a 7 month old puppy!

Karin and Foenix. Such nice contact between dog and handler. Foenix did place 4th of 5 male puppies. Judge was Luis Pinto Teixeira from Portugal. |

After the champion females the judge's went for a dinner break. Sadly when they came back, the weather wasn't any more sunny and nice, but rainy and windy. Sjalle was entered in a open class with 23 (!!!) females! I just hoped for her to present nice, even in the rain, and to get a Excellent. Well, and both things happened. The judge very clear let me knew he liked Sjalle a lot. Of the 23 females about half got excellent, so a lot of females to run for the placements. When only 4 was left, Sjalle and I was still there! Being in the ring with Sjalle can only make one happy. Seeing Sjalle's "smile" - just wanting to do anything to please you, and even in this not so great weather, she just did he very best. Sjalle ended up 2nd best of 23 females in open class! I was so happy! Such a placement, after the show the day before, where nothing on Sjalle was like the judge wanted. Well she liked her ridge and her rear angulations. This day, we got a rapport with only excellent things! As the female who won open class placed best female, we went into the ring again later to run about getting 2nd best female, and well, of course we did :-) Since Sjalle wanted to. It was a really nice way to end of a pretty hard weekend. Judge was Mr. Rui Oliveira also from Portugal. |
And maybe you think this was all for this weekend? well then you are wrong :-) At the show in Appel I got a phone text about show results from Norway. Cike's daughter Kuzonga's Fuga Zhinga had been and 3 shows in puppy class. At the 2 first shows Zhinga was handled by her owner, and ended up with one time getting 2nd in her class, and one time winning her class and getting BOS puppy. Some really impressive results from this young and not so experienced team. On the 3rd and last show Zhinga was handled by Mona, the owner of Zhinga's uncle NOCH LP1 LP2 BH Kuzonga's Cheriff. From this I was so lucky to get a few photos :-)

Zhinga and Mona and the move. Looking forward to hear much more from Zhinga in Norway, just as I always enjoy to get photos and results from all "my puppies" . good or bad! Well and as long as dog and owner are happy, I really don't care that much about the results :-) |
As they say in the Disney Cartoons. "That's all" :-)
